The Ascot Limited engaged RN Projects to design a WiFi solution for their Citadines Walker North Sydney property, including the provision of hardware, Reivernet’s world-leading HSIA gateway solution, Reivernet’s casting solution and Phillips TVs.
Opened in 2023, Citadines Walker North Sydney spans 19 levels of the new 88 Walker Street development, now the tallest building in North Sydney. Catering to business and leisure travellers, Citadines Walker North Sydney offers a 252-keys hotel that includes studio rooms and spacious suites, a guest lounge, a business centre with a boardroom and workstations, a soon to be opened bar and restaurant, and a gymnasium.
RN Projects’ solution for Citadines Walker North Sydney included installing a new switching infrastructure to support all new WiFi6 APs across the entire property, providing 100% coverage and configuring it to support Guest, POS, AV and Admin network services.

Challenges and Considerations
When installing and configuring multiple products and services such as internet connections, chrome casting TVs, and the vast array of other network services required by a hotel, delivering a seamless experience to the client and their guests is often the most significant challenge.
